Some of North America’s best amateur and pro players will be competing across the U.S. during RedPADEL’s 2024 season of padel in partnership with Wilson.
Atlanta, San Diego, Miami and a new club in New Jersey, make up some of the cities hosting RedPADEL events.
"RedPADEL events engage and energize the local player population as top players often travel to the host clubs to play from out of town and sometimes internationally," said Charles Messow, CEO, RedPADEL. "Players of all levels will be competing in the Circuit this year, with the top divisions vying for over $140,000 in prize money spread out across 10 events and a Master's Event."
There will be 10 regular season tournaments that lead up to a $40,000 Master's Event for only Division 1 and 2 Categories.
The 2024 RedPADEL Circuit will consist of an Open Division and an all-new Women’s Division who will have the option to play in either division or both (the exception being Atlanta where they may only play one due to a groups format). Any points earned for the year-long leaderboard will stay in that division and not cross over. If women choose to play in both Open and Women's categories, they are agreeing that they will not be able to compete in any backdraws.
All levels welcome
Divisions: Open (multiple divisions based on number of entries and RPR ratings) and Women’s (multiple divisions based on number of entries and RPR ratings).
$140,000 + minimum prize money for entire circuit + Master's event
Wilson Prizes for Winners and Runner-up of all Division 2, 3 and 4 draws
DRAWS
Maximum draw sizes are 16 teams. The cutoff for Division 1 is 13.5 average team RPR (RedPADEL Rating) in the Open Division and 9.0 in the Women’s Division. If there are more 16 teams entered into Division 1 with an average RPR of 13.5, the additional teams will be entered into division 2, priority into Division 1 will be based on highest verifiable RPR (ie players that have previous results in RedPADEL events and/or verifiable rankings through FIP , Premier , A1 , or other reputable governing body to the discretion of tournament director).
RATINGS
Teams will be placed in divisions based on average team RPR (RedPADEL Rating), the official player rating of the USPA. A temporary rating will be used for first time players who have not received an official verification from a RedPADEL official verifier. The maximum initial temporary rating will be 16.0. If a player is top 100 in FIP, A1, or Premier, the initial temporary rating will be 18.2.

This same formula will be used for regular season tournaments to determine the distribution of the prize pool
Division 1 to Division 2 prize money ratio for the Open category is 90% to 10%
Winners of the Division 2 RPC will earn a Wilson luxury package (padels, shoes, and accessories from Wilson and gifts from other sponsors).
NOTES
Any relevant circumstance not covered by the information above will be voted on by a 3-person committee of redPADEL advisors, if required
If a player qualifies for the RPC (Master's Event) with more than one partner, the player will need to choose with whom he/she will play with. No substitutes allowed in Div 1
There will be a masters final event for Division 2, for teams with average RPR’s under 14 (this RPR average may be above or below 14 by the time of the Masters, but the range must be respected during the regular circuit). Any team that qualifies for Division 2 Masters event with an RPR greater than 14 by the time of the masters, needs to have played at least 3 tournaments in the circuit with the average RPR being under 14
If any player or team blatantly “low-balls” his or her initial rating for a circuit event, l may NOT be invited to the Masters Final. This decision will be based on feedback of the individual tournament director
Each event will have a registration limit, once reached, no further entries will be accepted, unless an individual event will be accepting wild cards (which would be awarded based on RPR, playing history, and other criteria to the discretion of the event). Entry deadlines are strict.
